Welding electrode 6013 MOST (pink) 2.0mm /2,5kg/ 0630601320
Universal welding electrode for steel
The MOST 6013 welding electrode, commonly known as "pink", is a universal solution for welding steel structures. It will work both in the workshop and on the construction site, and its properties will be appreciated by both professional welders and those performing occasional welding work. The electrode is characterized by a stable welding arc and easy removal of slag after welding, which translates into efficiency and aesthetics of the made connections.
Properties and application
The 6013 electrode is designed for welding non-alloyed steels with a yield strength of up to 315 MPa. It is perfect for structures exposed to static and dynamic loads – from building elements, through steel structures, to railway rolling stock. Due to its universal properties, it is recommended for assembly work and in situations requiring welding in all positions (except vertical down). Thanks to the rutile coating, it provides a smooth and shiny weld surface, even when welding in forced positions.
Technical characteristics and approvals
The electrode meets the standards PN-EN ISO 2560-A: E 38 0 RC 11 and AWS A5.1: E 6013. It has approvals from ABS, BV and DNV-GL, which confirms its high quality and reliability. Its chemical composition is: C=0.08%, Si=0.20%, Mn=0.50%. The mechanical properties of the weld are: Re[N/mm²]=360, Rm[N/mm²]=440–570 and KV=47 J (0°C), which guarantees strength and resistance to cracking. The electrode can be used with both direct and alternating current.
