Welding electrode 6013 MOST (pink) 2.5mm /2,5kg/ 0630601325
Universal welding electrode for structural steels
The MOST 6013 (pink) electrode with a diameter of 2.5 mm is a versatile choice for welding steel structures, both exposed to static and dynamic loads. It will be useful in construction, steel structures, as well as in assembly and repair work. Its rutile-cellulose coating provides a stable arc and easy ignition, which will be appreciated by both experienced welders and those just starting their welding adventure.
Characteristics and application
This electrode is characterized by its versatility and good weldability in all positions. It can be used with both direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC). It is particularly recommended for welding steel structures, building structures, machine elements and in railway rolling stock. Thanks to its properties, it also copes well with contaminated surfaces of welded elements. Welding with a 6013 electrode allows for obtaining welds with good mechanical properties - tensile strength (Rm) is in the range of 440-570 N/mm², and the yield strength (Re) is 360 N/mm². Impact strength (KV) at 0°C is 47 J.
Advantages and benefits
- Versatility: Suitable for welding low-carbon and fine-grained steels in various positions.
- Ease of use: Provides a stable arc and easy ignition, making it easier for even less experienced welders.
- Good mechanical properties: Welds are characterized by appropriate tensile strength and impact strength.
- Current versatility: Possibility of welding with direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC).
- Approvals: It has approvals from ABS, BV and DNV-GL - confirmation of high quality and safety.
- Chemical composition: Carbon content (C) is 0.08%, silicon (Si) - 0.20%, and manganese (Mn) - 0.50%. This composition provides appropriate welding and mechanical properties of the weld.
- Classification: Meets the standards PN-EN ISO 2560-A: E 38 0 RC 11 and AWS A5.1: E 6013 - a guarantee of compliance with industry requirements.
