Welding electrode 6013 MOST (pink) ø 2.5 /1kg/ 0630601327
Universal solution for demanding structures
The MOST 6013 welding electrode with a diameter of 2,5mm is a professional tool for MMA welding of steel structures exposed to static and dynamic loads. The rutile-coated electrode ensures a stable arc with minimal spatter, resulting in high weld quality and working comfort.
The slag remains fluid and is easily removed after solidification, and the weld is characterized by a smooth, shiny surface even when welding in out-of-position. The product is available in a practical 2,5kg package (electrode length 300mm) and holds a CE declaration of performance.
Technical parameters and classification
The electrode meets the requirements of the PN-EN ISO 2560-A: E 38 0 RC 11 and AWS A5.1: E 6013 classifications, confirming its compliance with international welding standards. Tensile strength is Rm=440-570 N/mm², yield strength Re>360 N/mm², elongation A5>22%, and impact strength KV>47 J (0°C).
The chemical composition includes carbon (C=0,08%), silicon (Si=0,20%), and manganese (Mn=0,50%), ensuring optimal mechanical properties of the weld. The product can be used with both direct current (+ on the electrode) and alternating current.
Applications and versatility
Due to its mechanical and chemical parameters, the electrode finds wide application in shipbuilding (ship structures, bridges), land construction (high-rise structures, buildings), rail transport (railway rolling stock), and the pipeline industry (long-distance transmission pipelines).
Particularly recommended for assembly work and repairs of structures loaded both statically and dynamically. It is also effective in the production of steel elements with a yield strength of up to 315 N/mm².
Welding positions and operating conditions
Welding can be performed in all positions except vertical down. The electrode maintains stable operating parameters in various environmental conditions thanks to its rutile-cellulose coating.
The product has approvals for use in marine structures from renowned classification societies (ABS, BV, DNV-GL, additionally LRS and GL according to some sources), confirming its high quality and reliability in demanding industrial applications.
