Universal halogen-free control cable – safety and flexibility

This gray, flexible JZ-520 HMH LS0H cable is a versatile solution for use in control, measurement and power installations. The cable is designed for places with increased fire safety requirements, such as public buildings, but will also work in industry and home applications. Its construction ensures reliability and durability, and the halogen-free properties minimize the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire.

Construction and properties ensuring long-term operation

The cable is characterized by a solid construction based on multi-wire copper conductors. Insulation made of a halogen-free polymer mixture guarantees high safety of use. The wires are twisted in layers, which ensures optimal pitch and minimizes interference. The outer jacket made of halogen-free plastic further protects the cable from external factors. This makes the cable resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage, which translates into its long service life.

The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51, which confirms its high quality and compliance with European standards. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C (flexibly from -15°C), which makes it suitable for use in various environmental conditions. The operating voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 2000V – this ensures safe operation in electrical installations. The minimum bending radius allows for easy installation even in tight spaces.

Safety and compliance with regulations

The cable has a fire reaction class of B2ca-s1a, d0, a1 according to EN 50575, which means limited flammability, low smoke emission and no burning droplets or particles. It also meets the requirements for the absence of halogens, corrosiveness of combustion gases and smoke emission during combustion – which is crucial for ensuring the safety of people and equipment in the event of a fire. The cable is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Thanks to this, the installer can be sure that he is using a product that meets all applicable standards and regulations.
