Flexible halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability

JZ-520 HMH LS0H cable is a flexible, multi-core control cable designed for installations requiring a high level of fire safety. Made of high-quality materials, it meets the standards for low flammability and emission of toxic gases during combustion, making it an ideal solution in public buildings and in places with increased fire risk. This cable is particularly recommended for use in office buildings, hospitals, schools, as well as in industrial installations.

Construction and properties

The cable construction is based on multi-wire copper conductors of class 5, providing high flexibility and resistance to bending. The cores are insulated with a halogen-free TI7 polymer mixture, which minimizes the risk of toxic fumes in the event of a fire. Green-yellow protective cores are placed outside the structure, making them easy to identify and connect. The whole is surrounded by a coating of a halogen-free plastic M1 in gray (RAL 7001), providing additional mechanical and chemical protection. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing of the required length.

The cable is characterized by a wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +70°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The minimum bending radius is 12.5 x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4 x diameter for fixed laying. The reaction to fire class according to EN 50575 is B2ca-s1a, d0, a1 – which guarantees high fire resistance and minimal smoke emission in the event of a fire.

Application and benefits

This cable is used as a control cable in buildings of the People's Hazard (ZL) character, where fire safety is a priority. It will also work as a measuring and control cable in machines, conveyor belts and air conditioning systems. Thanks to its flexibility and resistance to external factors, it can be used in both fixed and mobile installations.
