Flexible halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability

This grey, flexible JZ-520 HMH LS0H 4G2.5 cable is a solution designed for installation in places with increased fire safety requirements. The cable is designed for public buildings where the protection of people and equipment is a priority. Thanks to the use of halogen-free materials, it minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation during a fire, making it an ideal choice for office buildings, hospitals, schools, airports and other facilities with a high density of people.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. Made of multi-strand copper conductors class 5, insulated with halogen-free TI7 polymer mixture, it provides good flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The conductors are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch, and the whole is surrounded by a cover made of halogen-free M1 plastic in grey color (RAL 7001). Additionally, the cable has a green-yellow protective conductor (from 3 conductors upwards), placed in the outer layer of the core.

This cable meets stringent European standards, including CPR class B2ca-s1a, d0, a1, which guarantees its high quality and safety of use. The cable is designed to operate in temperatures from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +70°C (flexible), at a voltage of 300/500V. The minimum bending radius is 12.5x the cable diameter for flexible laying and 4x the diameter for fixed laying.
