Halogen-free control cable – safety and flexibility in one

This grey, flexible JZ-520 HMH LS0H cable is a solution designed for installation in places where fire safety and human protection are a priority. The cable is designed for buildings with high density, such as office buildings, hospitals, schools or airports, where fire protection requirements are particularly strict. Made of halogen-free materials, it minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, which translates to increased safety for users and equipment.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring reliable operation in various conditions. Multi-strand, flexible class 5 copper conductors guarantee good flexibility and facilitate installation. Insulation made of halogen-free TI7 polymer mixture ensures high safety of use. The conductors are twisted in layers for optimal pitch and the outer coating made of halogen-free M1 plastic provides additional protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation.

• Halogen-free: Materials do not contain chlorine or other halogenated substances, which minimizes the emission of toxic gases during combustion.
• CPR class: B2ca-s1a, d0, a1 – provides a high level of reaction to fire in accordance with EN 50575 standard. This means limited flammability, low smoke emission and no burning droplets or particles.
• Flexibility: Construction with flexible copper conductors makes it easy to lay the cable even in difficult conditions.
• Temperature range: Operation at temperatures from -15°C to +70°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) allows the cable to be used in a wide range of ambient temperatures.
• Operating voltage: 300/500 V – standard voltage for control and measurement installations.
• Mechanical resistance: The cable is suitable for permanent or flexible laying with medium mechanical load.
