Safety and flexibility in one cable – control cable JZ-520 HMH LS0H

This halogen-free control cable is the ideal solution wherever the safety of people and the protection of sensitive equipment are a priority. The JZ-520 HMH LS0H cable is designed for installations in public buildings such as office buildings, hospitals or schools, where fire resistance requirements are particularly high. Thanks to the use of halogen-free materials, it limits the emission of toxic gases and smoke in the event of a fire, significantly increasing the chances of safe evacuation.

Construction and properties for professionals

The cable is characterized by a solid construction based on multi-wire copper conductors, providing flexibility and reliability of connections. Insulation made of halogen-free TI7 polymer mixture guarantees high temperature resistance – from -40°C to +70°C in stationary mode and from -15°C to +70°C during flexible operation. The operating voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 2000V. The minimum bending radius allows for easy installation even in tight spaces. The cores are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch, which minimizes the risk of interference. The outer sheath made of halogen-free M1 plastic provides additional protection against external factors.

CPR class and compliance with standards

The cable meets strict European standards, obtaining a fire reaction class of B2ca-s1a, d0, a1 according to EN 50575. This means that the cable exhibits limited flammability, low smoke emission and no release of corrosive gases during combustion. In addition, the cable is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The cable has undergone tests confirming its resistance to flames (single cores and cable bundles), corrosiveness of gases generated during combustion and oil resistance.

It is ideal for use in places with increased fire safety requirements – offices, hospitals, schools or airports. It can also be used in air conditioning and steel mill installations. The cable is intended for permanent or flexible laying with medium mechanical load, both in dry and humid environments.
