Flexible halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability

This grey, flexible control cable JZ-520 HMH LS0H with a cross-section of 2x2.5 mm² is an ideal solution for installations in places with increased fire safety requirements. The cable is designed for public buildings such as office buildings, hospitals or schools, where limiting the emission of toxic gases and smoke in the event of a fire is crucial. Thanks to the use of halogen-free materials, the cable minimizes the risk to human health and damage to sensitive electronic equipment.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. Made of multi-wire copper conductors, insulated with a halogen-free polymer mixture, it guarantees flexibility and easy installation. The conductors are twisted in layers with an optimal pitch, which improves their electrical properties. The outer coating made of halogen-free M1 plastic provides additional protection against mechanical damage and environmental factors. The cable is metered, which makes it easier to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation.

Application and compliance with standards

Designed for use as a control cable in installations in buildings of Hazard to People (ZL) character, as well as in machines, conveyor belts and air conditioning systems. It will work well in both fixed and flexible installations with medium mechanical load. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE and EN standards, and its CPR class B2ca-s1a, d0, a1 ensures a high level of fire safety. The cable is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Additionally, it has oil resistance according to DIN VDE 0473-811-404/DIN EN 60811-404/IEC 60811-404.
