Flexible control cable halogen-free – reliability and safety

This 7-core flexible OZ-500 HMH cable is a proposal for professionals and end-users who value safety and high quality workmanship. Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a careful construction using high-quality materials. Copper strands are twisted in accordance with VDE 0295 cl. 5, BS 6360 cl. 5 and IEC 60228 cl. 5 standards, which guarantees their flexibility and mechanical strength. The core insulation is made of halogen-free TI6 mixture, ensuring safety in the event of a fire – it limits the release of smoke and toxic gases. Black cores are clearly numbered with white digits for easy identification during installation. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer coating made of TM7 mixture in gray color (RAL 7001), which further increases resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors.

The cable has a nominal core cross-section of 0.75 mm² and a nominal voltage U of 500 V. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -15°C to +70°C during installation and from -40°C to +70°C after installation (without vibration). The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 7.7 mm. Thanks to its construction, the cable is flexible and easy to install, and its radiation resistance reaches 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (100 Mrad).
