This halogen-free, shielded 500V cable is an ideal solution for demanding installations where flexibility, protection against interference, and fire safety are crucial. The cable is designed for use in machines, production lines, air conditioning systems, and many other places where reliable transmission of control and measurement signals is required. Thanks to the copper braid construction, it provides effective suppression of electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is key in modern automation systems.

Construction and properties

The OZ-500 HMH-C cable is distinguished by its careful workmanship and the use of high-quality materials. Multi-wire copper conductors (class 5) provide good flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Insulation made of halogen-free TI6 mixture guarantees safety in case of fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke. Shielding braid made of tinned copper wires with 85% coverage effectively protects against the influence of external interference. The outer jacket made of halogen-free TM7 mixture provides additional mechanical protection and resistance to environmental factors.

Technical parameters and scope of applications

This cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 500V and a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm². It can be used at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +70°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius is approx. 4xØ of the cable for fixed laying and approx. 12.5xØ of the cable for flexible laying. The cable is intended for stationary or flexible installations, but should not be subjected to continuous movements or tensile stresses. It is a versatile cable ideal for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications – from machines and conveyor belts to air conditioning installations and building management systems.
