Flexible halogen-free control cable OZ-500 HMH-C

The OZ-500 HMH-C cable is a flexible, shielded control cable with a rated voltage of 500V, designed for use in machines, conveyors, production lines, air conditioning installations and metallurgy. It is characterized by high resistance to fire and mechanical factors, making it an ideal solution for both stationary and flexible installations. The cable construction ensures interference-free signal transmission thanks to an effective screen.

Construction and properties

This cable is distinguished by its careful construction, using high-quality materials. Multi-wire copper conductors (class 5) are insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture, which increases safety in the event of a fire – limiting the release of toxic gases and smoke. Black conductors are numbered with white printing for easy identification. A braid screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer jacket made of TM7 mixture in gray color (RAL 7001). The cable is metered for convenient dispensing of the required length.

The OZ-500 HMH-C cable is used as a measuring and control cable in various industrial and construction installations. It is particularly recommended where high fire resistance and electromagnetic interference are required. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11. The cable has passed tests confirming its self-extinguishing and non-flammability properties in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1-2 standards. Additionally, it meets the requirements for corrosion resistance of fire gases (DIN VDE 0482-754-2, DIN EN 60754-2, IEC 60754-2) and low smoke density (DIN VDE 0482 part 1034-1+2, DIN EN 61034-1+2, IEC 61034-1+2).
