Welding wire for efficient steel welding

This electrode wire, made of manganese-silicon with a copper coating, is a reliable choice for MAG welding of low-carbon construction, boiler and shipbuilding steels. It is also suitable for welding fine-grained carbon-manganese steels. Its versatility stems from the ability to work at both high and low current intensities, adapting to different welding techniques – from spray arc to short-circuit metal transfer.

The 0.8 mm diameter wire is available in D200, D300 (plastic spool) and B300 (basket) packages, as well as in drums, allowing it to be adapted to the needs of both small workshops and large production plants. CO2 or Ar+CO2 gas mixtures are recommended for welding.

Properties and application

This wire is characterized by high quality workmanship and meets a number of standards and approvals (TÜV, DB, LR, ABS, NAKS, CE), which guarantees its reliability and safety of use. Its chemical composition (C=0.1%, S=0.9%, Mn=1.5% and copper coating) ensures good mechanical properties of the weld. Tensile strength Rm reaches 590 N/mm², and yield strength Re is 490 N/mm². Impact strength A5 is 25%, and KV (impact energy value) is 100 J at -10°C and 80 J at -20°C.

Thanks to its mechanical properties and adaptability to various welding conditions, this wire finds wide application in the construction, machinery and shipbuilding industries. It can be used to weld steel structures of various types – from building elements to ship hulls. Welding is possible in all positions except vertical down.
